Organisations can use the one-off grants (of up to $5000 including GST) towards the purchase of equipment and/or modifications that will eliminate or reduce risks to health and safety.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place

"Between a Rock and a Hard Place" is a new plain English publication which contains information that is useful to anyone who works in a Community Information and Support Agency.

The Fitzroy Legal Service has produced this publication to be a resource guide for community sector workers assisting clients with legal issues.

"Between a Rock and a Hard Place" covers some common legal issues identified through a series of local community consultations and can be used together with the Law Handbook website. The 2010 edition of the Law Handbook is now on-line including monthly legal updates. Copies of "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" are available for free.

For further information and to obtain a copy please contact Fabiola Superina at Fitzroy Legal Service on 94193744.
