ER Victoria is seeking a passionate,
experienced Sector Development Manager to work with a small
dedicated committee of management, and working closely with
volunteers, not for profit organisations, corporate sector,
philanthropy, and all levels of
government.
You will need to be an enthusiastic,
organised and motivated person with a very high attention to
detail. Have excellent analytic skills and an ability to work
strategically. You will be deadline driven and committed
to continuous improvement with the skills to prepare and present
written and verbal reports, policy documents and submissions to a
range of audiences. You will also have excellent
communications, consultation and networking skills with the ability
to engage a range of stakeholders.
Duties specific to this role
include:
- Implement the 2011-2014 strategic plan and
program plans
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders
including ER providers, local networks across the state and peak
bodies
- Promote cross-sector networking between ER,
Financial Counselling and Microfinance agencies and
workers
- Research issues impacting on the ER
sector
- Attend, support and actively contribute to
ER Victoria network meetings and local ER
meetings
To be considered for this position you will
have the key attributes and previous experience in the Community
services/Not for profit sector is very
advantageous.
This position is a contract role until 30
June 2014, funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community
Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) with a probation period
of 3 months.
The role is full time, 38 hour per week with
a salary of $65-75K per annum (dependent on skills experience) -
Generous additional tax benefits through salary packaging. In
accordance with the Modern Award; Social, Community, Home Care and
Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and the successful outcome
of a Police and Working with Children
